Crocheted hyperbolic planes

This is a picture of my recent project. I wanted to play around with hyperbolic planes in crochet. I bought a book. It explains the math, which I have not yet absorbed. I understood how they did it though, so tried my hand at it. This is one piece, two angles.
The whole thing is crocheted as one piece. It was fun to do. The foundation chain is only 20 stitches, and by the time I was done, the last row was hundreds of stitches. This is addictive. I am playing with other things too, and finding what I want to do. This one was done with scrap yarn, as are the rest I'm practicing on. I ordered some yarn at a good discount, but it's very nice yarn, so I'll only use it for something I've made a practice one of.
