In person the color is better. Also, if you scroll down about three posts I think, you'll see this mushroom before I padded the cap. It's a tiny bit bigger now. I just like it better. Looks more organic this way.
Still not at all happy with my photo results, but that's why I'm doing this, to learn. I may try stopping now and work on dolls in the daytime and photographing art at night. One problem was that there is a window a few feet behind the light tent I'm using. We'll see how this does at night. And moving the lights further away from the tent may help too.
Trying to set a price. Thinking less than a hundred. It's about 6" tall. Mixed media. And as with a lot of my work, it's nearly all re-purposed stuff that is now gracing my shelf as a mushroom rather than in a landfill someplace. There is a bit of clay for the face and hands, and paint. That's all that I can think of that were new.
