These pictures are of a mushroom in progress. It is made of almost all recycled materials. The form I got at a thrift store for 49 cents. It was a mushroom then too, but had a crocheted "skin". I am using old pattern tissue for the skin, paint, a sculpted face and hands.
I am not happy with the cap here, so put the crocheted skin back on the cap part and am putting paper and paint on it. It won't be smooth on the cap like it is now. It'll be a bit lumpy and a tad bit bigger. I think that will suit the piece better.
It'll be finished in the next few days, I hope. I may put it up for sale, but have no idea what to ask. 75 to 100 dollars? I dunno. I've made dolls that went for more than that that were less work.
